I have to apologize for not doing “3 week” photos. Cleo’s puppies somehow contracted mycoplasma and it manifested in green gunky noses and coughs. I spent the better part of the week giving them all hydration enemas every 2-3 hours (because the body can absorb it well that way). I am happy to report that thanks to hydration and antibiotics, they are feeling much better.
We introduced the potty box this week. I had giggles as they like to sleep under the bed rather than in it. Their little personalities are starting to come out. I love their little growls and attempts to play.
oy 1: โFrogโ (Thin white line on his head – green collar)

Nick and Sarah had another amazing weekend in Lewiston Idaho – my first time at this cluster and it didn’t disappoint.
Nick (MBIS MBISS GCHP Kazuri’s All I Want For Christmas CGC ATT TKN BCAT) gives me his all in the ring, and has quite the reputation for taking naps on top of the trolley – he is a wonderful companion at home and we adore him. He is looking better than ever for almost turning 6. The road to double platinum continues
Friday 18th April – Nick went BOV under judge Ms. Kimberly Anne Meredith. He went onto a OH Group 3 under judge Ms. Lee Whittier
I was also so proud of Murphy (RBIS GCHB Kazuri’s Everything’s Gonna Be Alright) with his 13 inch BOV with Randy Benns, and his daughter Savannah (GCHB Kazuri’s Gonna Be Peachy) for BOS/BOVOH shown by Malia Throop.
Lucy (GCH Wilderness You Can’t Take My Sass) won Select for another major towards her GCHB title.

Lucy (GCH Wilderness You Can’t Take My Sass) won BOS for another major towards her GCHB title with her breeder Cheyenne who came to visit for the day.
Murphy (RBIS GCHB Kazuri’s Everything’s Gonna Be Alright) with his 13 inch BOV, and his daughter Savannah (GCHB Kazuri’s Gonna Be Peachy) for BOS/BOVOH
Dolly Stearns debuted little Lyric (Joyful Noise N Kazuri Sound Of Sunshine) and they did great together in the ring with this 6-9 month old puppy taking it all in her stride.
Sunday 20 April – Nick went BOV under judge Mr. Jon Titus Steele and went onto making the cut in group under Mr. John Constantine-Amodei, then OH Group 1 under Mrs. Debbie Campbell-Freeman and OH BIS under Mr. Jon Titus Steele!!

Monday 21 April – Nick went BOV under judge Mr. John Constantine-Amodei, then OH Group 1 under Mr. Ronald Freeman and OH BIS under Mrs. Debbie Campbell-Freeman!
Also, Roads (Kazuri’s Find New Roads) went BOW for a second 4 point major under judge Mr. John Constantine-Amodei and Pickles (Kazuri’s Gonna Be A Big DIll) garnered another 4 point major too, making her a few singles short of her CH. Thank you to Shelley for showing them both so wonderfully.
Murphy (RBIS GCHB Kazuri’s Everything’s Gonna Be Alright) with his 13 inch BOV and Savannah (GCHB Kazuri’s Gonna Be Peachy) for BOS/BOVOH with Malia.
Lucy (GCH Wilderness You Can’t Take My Sass) won BOS again
Sorry there arent more photos – I helped show some Dachshunds for Shelley and we volunteered at FastCat when we werent in the ring, and so it was a wonderfully busy time. Congratulations to all the friends and also co-owners Malia Throop, Dolly Stearns, Ruthie Tesky, Sarah Yates, Jonah and Hannah Kvernum, Shelley McGaugh, Cheyenne Wohlschlegel – what a great weekend
Can I just say that going to shows and sharing them with friends makes it so so amazing! Community over competition is my favorite saying and I will stick by it – having friends to cheer on and cheer you on makes it all the sweeter.
Okay – where to begin? Some of these dogs we don’t have photos for (yet). I am just going to say a huge THANK YOU to judges Ms Pam Ramey Lambie, Mr Ron Lukins , Mr David Kirkland , Mrs Ainslie Mills and Mrs Betsy Horn Humer for these amazing wins.
Savannah (GCHB Kazuri’s Gonna Be Peachy) went BOSV and then 2x BOV, with a OHG2 to top it off to finish her Bronze GCH and her OG Bronze titles. She is always shown (and very loved) by Malia Throop.
Murphy (RBIS GCHB Kazuri’s Everything’s Gonna Be Alright) went BOV on Firday under Ms Pamela Lambie.
Gypsy (Joyful Noise N Kazuri Just Lace and Paper Flowers) went WB/BOW/Best Opp for her final major and pending AKC is a new Champion shown by the lovely Cheyenne Calvert
Pickles (Kazuri’s Gonna Be a Big Dill) went WB/Best Opp for her 2nd major towards her CH title shown by Jr handler Peter Tae Meziere
Basil (Joyful Noise It Takes More than Fancy Flying) went WB/Best Opp for a major towards her CH title shown by breeder/owner Dolly Metzger-Stearns
Malibu (Kazuri’s Blue Skies over Malibu) went WD/BOW on both days he showed, to gain 2 more majors towards his championship – he just needs a couple of singles to finish after only a couple of weekends in the ring
Callie (GCHB Kazuri’s Everything’s Sugar N Spice BCAT ATT) played in the Juniors and breed ring with her friend Savannah and I loved watching them work more and more as a team together
Lyric went Bpup HoundG1/Bpup BIS her 2nd time in the ring with Dolly!
We had so much fun as a community – one of our RV neighbors even made a point to come over to say how lovely it was to watch the friendship and support and hear the laughter from our spot. That made me just as proud as the wins. Thats what it’s all about.
PICKLES (Kazuri’s Gonna Be A Big Dill) garnered her 2nd and 3rd majors from the puppy classes, in only 2 weekends of showing, for a total of 12 points, I am guessing she will be finished before we know it.
On Saturday, she went WB/BOW/BOS over a special for a 5 point major under judge Erika N Wyatt.
On Sunday she went WB for a 3 point major under judge Ms Marilyn L Van Vleit.
Pickles was bred by Sarah Sweetman and is co-owned/loved by herself and Sarah Smith-Falkner.
Vada Potato is from Willow and Murphy and is 4.5 months. We had a show in Albany and they were hosting 3 days of “BPUP” for the 4-6 month old puppies which is a low key fun way for them to see what this showing thing is all about.
The judges Mr John Mayhall, Ms Annella Cooper and Mrs Donna M Gilbert were so loving and sweet and gave all the puppies such a great experience.
Vada (Kazuri N Joyful Noise Sunshine On A Cloudy Day) aka Potato took everything in her stride – she moved beautifully and held her stack on the table and group despite all the sight and sounds of the other rings. I couldn’t be prouder as a breeder and owner of this sweet smart little girl.
She won Hound Group 1 all 3 days and showed her socks off (no win) in “best puppy”.
These photos were taken from videos so please excuse the quality.
Ozzy came into his first show of 2025 needing 2 majors and 8 points total (so if he got 3 point majors he would have needed a couple of singles too).
Knowing there would be potential majors in Albany OR, I entered Ozzy hoping he might be able to garner those points and finish.
Well – finish he did. I asked for Cheyenne Calvert’s help since I can’t take 2 dogs in the ring at the same time so I am thankful for her.
The first day, under judge Ms Rhonda DeSilva, Ozzy went WD/BOW/BOV for a 5 point major. Talk about crazy amazing. He then made the final 6 cut in Hound Group under judge Mrs Christine Erickson – from the classes!
The second day he went WD for another 2 points under judge Erika N Wyatt. On Sunday he went WD/BOW for his final major to finish under judge Ms Marilyn L Van Vleit.
Talk about so proud. Our first Kazuri CH for 2025. CH Kazuri N Joyful Noise Just Over The Rainbow
Congratulations to his “mommy” Tesla and co-breeder/co-owner Dolly
There is a new team on the horizon – Sarah and Nick’s (MBIS MBISS GCHP Kazuri’s All I Want For Christmas CGC TKN ATT BCAT)
Co-breeders/Co-owners Mike and Karen Kurtzner did a beautiful job training and conditioning this sweet boy and taking his to heights I can only dream of.
Because they have another girl Lolli that they are showing right now (and we are cheering for), Nick has come for a temporary vacation in Washington so I can show him. Mike and Karen have been so supportive and I am thankful as I know they miss him very much.
My goal for 2025/26 is to get him to his Double Platinum It’s a lofty goal but we are up for the challenge.
I want to thank all of the judges who gave him Best In Show wins, Group placements and Specialty wins.
I couldn’t be more proud of these two boys who have both earned an invite to Westminster Kennel Club.
WKC is not the largest dog show in the USA, but holds a tradition of being one of the oldest dog shows in the USA having it’s first show debut on May 8, 1877. There is a certain pride breeders and handlers get from their dog placing at WKC.
An interesting fact is that the The Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show is one of a handful ofย benched showsย in the United States. This means that all of the dogs are required to be on display at their assigned show benches during the entire show except for when they are shown in the ring, being groomed, or taken outside to potty. This type of display allows spectators and breeders alike to have an opportunity of seeing all the entered dogs, ask questions and put their hands on some of the best quality dogs in the country.
2025 we have a 15 inch dog and 13 inch dog going in beagles.

I couldn’t be prouder of Tex and Chelsea and the start they have had to the 2025 show season. They are such a great team and I am cheering them on as they prepare to show at the prestigious Westminster Kennel club.
At the San Fernando Kennel Club they received Two NOHS Reserve Best in Shows and a regular hound Group 3rd. Thank you judges Shindle and Robinson… Be sure to scroll to the last to see Chelsea’s son Ronin’s adorable self in the last photo!
