Cleo’s beagle pups on the blue chair

I decided since we were taking photos of Ivy’s puppies on the blue chair, and because we didn’t do Cleo’s pups since they were at Malia’s in Spokane, that I would do blue chair photos with the two boys I have here. They are just waiting for their families to be ready to take them home.

Enjoy “Frog” (first 4) and “Toad” (last 4) 🙂 <3

Ivy’s puppies on the blue chair

6 weeks old and as tradition holds, I wanted to take a photo or two of my beagle puppies on the blue chair.

They are a sweet and active little bunch and so it was fun to see their little personalities in the photos. I hope you enjoy them as much as I did taking them

Girl 2: “Iris” (Has a line between her shoulder blades)

Girl 3: “Tulip” (Has a thin line across her hips)

Girl 4: “Primrose” (No white marks on back or hips)

Boy 1: “Crocus” (Has an “L” shape on his neck)

Baby Caspian the beagle turns 2 weeks old

Daisy and Nick’s singleton baby beagle is doing amazing – he is strong and healthy and such a little squish. His eyes just opened for his 2 week old milestone.

He is just the cutest little man – Daisy is doing a wonderful job. <3

Brinn and Louie welcome two little beagle boys to the world

Brinn’s xray showed just 2 puppies and so we were on high alert watching her to see if there were any signs of labor. She was restless on Thursday and vomited a little but no progress. She was like that overnight, and then into Friday.

So, we decided to take her to the vet on friday at mid day, for a check in just to make sure we were safe. Dr Thoreson from Klahaya advised we did a c-section, and it was the right call. Brinn was a little dehydrated and her uterus wasn’t working as it should to push the puppies down the canal.

Instead we have 2 healthy boys and a healthy mama – this is what the goal is. We are home safe and sound with these precious little ones.

Cleo and Dutch’s beagle pups turn 8 weeks old

They are 8 weeks old – how did that happen?? Oh my gosh – they have the best personalities – not afraid of anything and ready for their new lives to begin.

They have been staying with co-breeder Malia for a couple of weeks and so I was lucky enough to pick them up and take some photos by her beautiful maple tree in the evening light. Enjoy their final photos

It’s SO sunny here in the PNW

What a beautiful start to the Summer we are having indeed. Ivy’s babies are enjoying being outside with the pack and exploring more of the yard. We don’t leave them out there unsupervised of course, but it’s wonderful to have the space for them to run and play safely.

Introducing Daisy and Nick’s beagle pup officially

Daisy’s sweet little beagle baby is thriving – as a solo pup he gets all of the milk and today he is over a 1lb meaning he has put on almost 6 oz since Friday. <3 I am not complaining one little bit – and neither is he – LOL>

Here are his first official photos – his name was chosen by Daisy’s “girl” and he is called Caspian from the Narnia series.

Ivy and Beau’s beagle puppies are 5 weeks old

Sorry we missed a week of photos – it’s been a little busy around here – good busy, but busy none the less 🙂

Ivy has been a super mommy to her 7 babies and now that she is weaned, has gone home to her forever home with her dog mom Echo and her human family. We already miss her so much, but we know they missed her too.

The babies are doing great – the weather here in the PNW has been warm allowing for lots of outdoor playtime and exploration. They are getting more confident and we just love their little emerging personalities.

Enjoy their photos – taken outside. They didn’t really want to pose today – more wanted to head off on an adventure but I managed photos of them all.

Trillium will be available to a local Seattle area home, where they would be willing to keep him in tact for an extra year or so (till 4), and allow me to show him to his CH title. I offer a “thank you” discount for this arrangement/partnership. If you want to learn more about what that entails, or get references from a family who has done this, please don’t hesitate to ask.

Daisy and Nick welcome their sweet baby beagle boy

We were a little disappointed that Daisy’s X-ray showed just 1 puppy. We decided that instead of jumping straight to a C section, we would let her try and have it naturally and if there was signs of problems we would take her in for surgery.

She had a restless night on Thursday and Friday morning, despite eating a full breakfast, it looked like labor was in full force. I watched her on the camera so I wouldn’t disturb her, and around 9:15am she started to contract more deeply.

I sat with her and she would push a little and then sleep a little. Around 10:30, with no real progression happening I contacted my vet who said we should come in at 12:30 for a c section.

My husband joined me just in case something happened while we were driving. We sat in the car waiting for the clinic to be ready for us. Around 1pm, we were surprised by a head appearing and we were rushed into a clean clinic room where Daisy delivered her baby safe and sound. All 10.9oz of him. A healthy baby boy strong and bright.

We then took Daisy home, and she has settled in beautifully with her little one. She was a wonderful momma last time and it looks like we will be lucky enough again this time.
