Dream weekend at the Inland Empire Kennel Club in CDA

There are some weekends where things seem to just fall into place and this last weekend in CDA was one of them. I only took Nick to show and it was nice to be able to just relax and enjoy my time with him. Nick didn’t disappoint at all.

On Friday he won BOV under judge Dr. Steven L. Keating. He went on to a regular Group 1 under judge Ms. JoAnne M Buehler and a Owner Handler Group 2 under Justin Dannenbring

On Saturday he won BOV under judge Ms. JoAnne M Buehler. He went on to a regular Group 1 under judge Mr Allen Odem and a Owner Handler Group 1 under Mr. Michael L Savage, going on to Owner Handled Best In Show under judge Ms. JoAnne M Buehler

On Sunday he won BOV under judge  Mr. Allen L Odom. He went on to a regular Group 2 under judge Dr Steven L Keating and a Owner Handler Group 1 under Mr. Allen L Odom

We floated back to Seattle on cloud 9 <3

Ivy’s beagle pups are 1 week old

Ivy is a wonderful mother. The babies are well fed and always sparkly clean. She loves to come out for snuggles and belly rubs and then is quick to go for a potty break and back to her mothering duties.

A good dam is worth her weight in gold and Ivy is worth every ounce. <3

We wont know who the sire of this litter is until DNA comes back in 6-7 weeks – stay tuned 🙂 Is it Nick or Maxim?

I took some pretty pictures of them – I am going to call them the President’s Week Litter since they were born the same week as President’s Day.

Callie and Nick’s beagle puppies are 3 weeks old

Time marches on and the babies are here for it all. They are starting to walk around much more and get strength in their legs. They started on puppy mush a few days ago and LOVE eating (no surprise there – haha). They love sleeping on their “big soft” bed and it’s time to start potty box training now that they dont want to potty where they sleep (understandable).

I love these little babies so much – what a joy to see parts and pieces of Callie and Nick in them already.

Callie and Nick’s beagle puppies have eyes open

We have peepers – it’s always so fun when their eyes open and we know they can start to hear things also.

The noise socialization has begun with playing movies like “Transformer” and “Saving Private Ryan” and “King Kong” for the loud and interesting sounds that play for them.

I love these little puppies. I am so excited to watch them grow up – they have big shoes to fill <3

Final beagle puppy pictures for Freddy and Jason

8 weeks is here – I can hardly believe it. These two have been fun and I have enjoyed every moment of raising them. They were lucky enough to have my family here from NZ and so got weeks of toddler and preschooler time with my nephews and neice.

They are going off to their new homes this weekend – Freddy is now Grahame Nash and Jason is now Lucky. Both have incredible families to love them and I may even be lucky enough to see them again in the not too distant future.

Brinn’s beagle puppies turn 7 weeks old

Brinn’s little “Friday the 13th” boys are thriving and loving their time playing with their bigger friends in the yard. They are both so confident and sweet. They are definitely learning not to bite – but they will get it.

I can’t believe we are almost at the time where they will go to their new homes. I have two incredible families for these beautiful boys – I couldn’t be more happy <3

Caspian the beagle pup has his final week here in Seattle

I can’t quite believe this time has come but little Caspian – now Larry, has turned 8 weeks and will be heading off on his new adventure with his new family. I am so thrilled for them but sad for me. He has truly been such an easy beagle puppy to potty train and so responsive to training. He has been sleeping well overnight in his crate like a boss.

I know his new family will keep in touch but I will surely miss him.

Daisy and Nick’s puppy Caspian turns 7 weeks old

Little Caspian is 7 weeks old and so it seemed fitting to do my traditional “blue chair” photos for him and he did not disappoint a bit.

What a sweet and handsome boy he is. A little independant, and very confident. He is still small and under 4lbs which isn’t typical for my puppies at this age, but he is eating and pooping and doing everything he needs to be healthy so I am not concerned about it.

Daisy and Nick’s beagle puppy Caspian turns 6 weeks

Little Caspian is doing well and just pottering along. He eats so well but is still pretty tiny. His half sister Brinn did the same thing and ended up as a 13 inch beagle – I have to wonder if he will stay little – time will tell.

He is a curious little man, and he was exploring the stairs, so I captured that today. He clearly wasn’t scared by the stair drop. Don’t worry, I didn’t leave him alone on there – safety first.

I love this sweet little man. <3

Brinn and Louie’s beagle puppies are 4 weeks old.

Brinn’s little beagle puppies are growing and eating 3 meals a day. Brinn only visits them at meal times – really she wants to steal their food and enjoy their left overs 🙂 haha. who can blame her? They are using the potty box a little bit – this is an area of opportunity for them – LOL.

The boys personalities are starting to emerge – Freddy is a little more confident at this stage, and Jason is a snuggler. Both are around the same size so I am keen to see where they end up size wise.

Enjoy their latest photos – that they were more interested in going off to play, than being part of the photo shoot – and who could blame them?
