The Columbia Willamette Beagle Specialty

The CWBC decided to put on a second specialty weekend this year. We decided to enter a few dogs and our efforts meant that we walked away with some amazing wins. I’ll try to remember them all.

Sweepstakes – under judge Terri Erickson

Skylar (Youngsong Chasing Dreams At Outwest) bred by Lisa Young and Jenni Nieft and co-owned by me, piloted by Dolly Stearns won Best 15 and then Best In Sweepstakes.

Leo (Kazuri Wonderlust Trouble At the Top) bred by Malia Throop and Sarah Sweetman, owned by the Jaycee family won Best Opp in Sweeps.

Potato (Kazuri N JoyfulNoise Sunshine on a cloudy day) bred by Sarah Sweetman and Dolly Stearns and owned by Kayla Bonnin and Sarah Sweetman won Best 13 in Sweeps.

Then in the CWBC specialty under judge Dr Camille McArdle DMV

Nick (MBISS MBIS GCHP Kazuri’s All I Want For Christmas ATT CGCU FDC BCAT) won 15s and then went on to winning the specialty.

Cardi B (Kazuri’s A Little Sweet A Little Spicy) Bred and owned by Sarah Sweetman won 13s Winners Bitch for a major at 6.5 months old

Milo (Kazuri’s Want Some Milo Magic) Bred by Sarah Sweetman and co-owned by Sarah Minzer won 13s WD/BOW/Best Opp for a major at 6.5 months. He went on to win Best Puppy In Show!

Potato (Kazuri N JoyfulNoise Sunshine on a cloudy day) won Select B in 13s with owner Kayla

Savannah (GCHB Kazuri’s Gonna Be Peachy ATT CGC FDC FCAT) bred by Sarah Sweetman and co-owned by Malia Throop won an Award of Merit in 13s.

Dunkin (Kazuri’s Do-Nut Give Me Trouble) bred by Sarah Sweetman, owned by Diane and Aldo Branch got Winners Dog in 15s

Olivia Newton John (Kazuri’s Summer Lovin’) bred and owned by Sarah Sweetman won Winners B/BOW/Best of Opp over a special in 15s. She also won Best Bred By Exhibitor in Show!

To say that it was an incredible day for Kazuri and the team – I am so thankful for the people who trusted me and my breeding program to have my dogs part of their world <3

Thank you to the CWBC committees and board for putting on a wonderful well run show. The packed lunch was great and it was very fun (even if it was chaos also)

Callie and Nick’s beagle puppies are 3 weeks old

Time marches on and the babies are here for it all. They are starting to walk around much more and get strength in their legs. They started on puppy mush a few days ago and LOVE eating (no surprise there – haha). They love sleeping on their “big soft” bed and it’s time to start potty box training now that they dont want to potty where they sleep (understandable).

I love these little babies so much – what a joy to see parts and pieces of Callie and Nick in them already.

Girl 1 (Saffron)

Girl 2 (Anise)

Boy 1 (Ghost)

Boy 2 (Jalapeno)

Boy 3 (Cayenne)

These puppies are all reserved. If you are interested in your own Kazuri Beagle or Cavalier King Charles Spaniel pup?  Please visit our Puppy page for information on our breeding plans, and pricing, how we place pups and how to apply.

Brinn’s beagle puppies turn 7 weeks old

Brinn’s little “Friday the 13th” boys are thriving and loving their time playing with their bigger friends in the yard. They are both so confident and sweet. They are definitely learning not to bite – but they will get it.

I can’t believe we are almost at the time where they will go to their new homes. I have two incredible families for these beautiful boys – I couldn’t be more happy <3

Enjoy the photos of this week – arent they so cute? Is there anything cuter than a beagle puppy?

Wonderful Coos Bay Oregon

I had heard rumors that the show in Coos Bay Oregon was a fun one – a small show that finished early in the afternoon leaving plenty of time for socializing and enjoying life.

I travelled there with Malia and her dogs Savannah and Gracie. I took Basil, Nick, Aurora and Elphaba.

It was a fun couple of days – we didn’t think to take many photos as per usual. I didn’t take my trailer “Betty” but we took Malia’s pop up tent and roughed it 🙂 It was actually very fun.

Savannah won breed in 13s each day, and Nick won breed in 15s each day. Elphaba won “winners b*tch” for another 6 points towards her CH title.

Nick won an OH Hound Group 3 on Friday, and OH Group 1 / OH BIS on Saturday (no OH offered on Sunday). Thank you to the judges Mr Charles Olvis, Mrs Donelle Richards, Mr Del Richards, Ms Elizabeth Muthard for finding the Kazuri dogs this weekend.

Brinn and Louie’s beagle puppies are 4 weeks old.

Brinn’s little beagle puppies are growing and eating 3 meals a day. Brinn only visits them at meal times – really she wants to steal their food and enjoy their left overs 🙂 haha. who can blame her? They are using the potty box a little bit – this is an area of opportunity for them – LOL.

The boys personalities are starting to emerge – Freddy is a little more confident at this stage, and Jason is a snuggler. Both are around the same size so I am keen to see where they end up size wise.

Enjoy their latest photos – that they were more interested in going off to play, than being part of the photo shoot – and who could blame them?
