Violet finishes her CH title

Pending AKC approval, Kazuri has beagle CH #5 for 2021

Violet – CH Kazuri’s Keeping Up Appearances. <3

Violet is the daughter of Mia (CH Foxtail’s Need For Speed TKN) and Riker (GCH CH Starbuck & Manabay Boldly Go Fourth, BCAT, ORT, L1V, NW1) and finished at the Houston World of Series Dog Shows with 3 majors. She is now going to retire for a little bit until it’s her time to have babies.

We are so proud of this sweet and sassy little girl. She has gone to live with Riker’s mom Rebecca Dodson, who runs BodlyGoSports – she trains and competes in agility, dock diving, nose work and more. Violet is going to be very happy.

Pud’s beagle babies are a day old.

With Pud’s babies being a day old, I decided to take a few nicer pictures with my proper camera. During a quick bathroom break for Puddin, I quickly took a few snapshots. These are def not my best work, but at least you can see them all. The babies are all doing well. Overnight they lost a little weight, but thats pretty common as mama’s milk comes in. I will support them and monitor them all carefully but I am pleased with how glossy they all are.

So, here they are: I still haven’t quite decided on a litter there so names undecided. 🙂 Bear with me. 🙂

I am thrilled to announce that Gordon is now a AKC CH. He just needed to get one single point and did so at the first day of the Puyallup cluster.

Sir finishes getting all his single points at the Puyallup Cluster.

Sir (also known as “King Louie” to his family) garnered all his singles this weekend. Now just need to find him some majors to finish his CH title.

Official win photos to come so a candid from the showgrounds will have to do.

On Friday, at the Puyallup Valley Kennel Club, Kazuri’s To Sir With Love went Winners Dog/Best of Winners under judge Mr. Nathaniel Horn.

Sir went Winners Dog/Best of Winners/Best of Opp over a special on Saturday under judge Mr. Bryan Martin.

He went Winners Dog on Sunday under judge Mr. Luis F. Sosa.

He went Winners Dog again on Sunday under judge Mrs. Patti Wadick Neale.

Sir is out of our homebred champion “Emmy” (CH Kazuri’s Dreaming of an Emmy) and “Ben” (BIS/BISS CH Kahootz Chase Manhatten).

Sir is MLS/F7/NCCD/CAT clear and black tri dominant.

Thank you to the judges who found my “Covid baby” this weekend and congratulations to all the other winners. Thank you also to Tammie Wilcox for showing Sir this weekend. I always appreciate her so much. I had a crazy weekend with other commitments, so appreciated her support.

The final week of everyone being together

This is the final week of the cavalier and beagle pups being together. Fergie (now known as Penelope) has already gone to her new home, and the other cavaliers will be heading to their new homes on Saturday after their ophthalmologist check. **For those who don’t know, I send my cavalier pups home with a cardiologist heart check, an ophthalmologist eye check and a vet check from my regular vet.

The pups are all happy and healthy – I couldn’t be more pleased. I have just loved raising them and being their first mama.

Due to no fault of their own, we have 2 beagle girls available. I am working through my waitlist to find the perfect fit for both. I am hoping to find a “guardian home” for Miss Shiloh (if you want to know more about that click here: Guardian home for “shiloh” | Kazuri (kazuribeagles.com)) and a pet family for Bagel.

Applications for any of our puppies (including future litters) can be found on our puppy page. ~ Puppy Information Page | Kazuri (kazuribeagles.com)

Enjoy these photos of them playing in the yard for their daily romp <3

My handsome Beau

Beau was my pick boy from my Madison x Buddy litter. I tried hard not to fall in love with him but I couldnt help myself.

We were doing a major home re-model and had to move out and so Mike and Karen said that many of our pack members could live with them for a few months. As soon as it was done, I drove down to California to pick them all up.

Beau is as sweet at 11 months as he was at 12 weeks when I dropped him off. I am excited to have some shows open up in WA so I can show him.

Introducing Beau – Kazuri’s All I Need Is Love and Cake.

Nick Wins BISS at MAHA

Oh my gosh!! I’m speechless!!

The Christmas magic continues for us in North Carolina today as at the Mid-Atlantic Hound Association of Central North Carolina, Nick (MBIS GCHB Kazuri’s All I Want For Christmas) went Best of Variety and Best In Group under judge Mr Neil T. McDevitt.

In a lineup of beautiful beagles and then some of the top hounds in the USA, we were so honored Nick was found amongst them.

Congratulations to all the other winners today!

This photo includes Jon Woodring, Carol Herr, Mike Kurtzner and Cassie Miller. Nick wouldn’t be here without their amazing kennels and hard work in the great dogs that are behind him and for that I will be eternally grateful. Of course, there are other kennels behind him too, but these are the ones in the photo. Nick is the 3rd in line of “Truman” (BIS BISS Lanbur Quest For The Best) and his kids/grandkids to have won here at MAHA.

Nick is now MBIS BISS GCHB Kazuri’s All I Want For Christmas. <3

The beagle pups are 3 weeks old

Our beagle puppies are 3 weeks old. We started them on some solid food this week and they LOVED it. While they are still enjoying the ‘well fed” life of mostly eating and sleeping, they are happy to sausage their way to the little bowls and eat a little ground beef mixed with some goats milk 🙂

This week we also gave them a potty box and I am pleased to say that they are starting to use it. Mama Allie is now enjoying nights off by herself and the babies are one step closer to a little independence.

I love my daily cuddles with them – they are so incredibly sweet.

Enjoy the latest pictures of them. They had just eaten and were ready for a nap. 🙂

Nick gets his 2nd BIS

West Virginia today, Nick (BIS GCHB All I Want For Christmas) went BOV and Hound Group 1 under judge Mr Raymond V. Filburn Jr.

He then went on to his second Best In Show under judge Ms Joanne Buehler!!! Woot woot!! Judge Buhler not only finished Nick but also gave him his first group placement. what an honor to now receive a Best under her.

Nick seems to be making all my Christmas wishes come true – and more!

Thank you Mike and Karen for continuing to present him so well and to the judges for finding him worthy. Congratulations to the other winners! I know he had great competition out there!

Allie’s newborn baby beagles

As promised, I took some nicer pictures of Allie’s babies. They are thriving. I don’t think I have ever had a set of puppies put on quite the weight that these guys have. Not that I am complaining at all – I am just amazed at their growth.

Allie has taken to motherhood like she was born to do it. I guess she was. She adores her babies and dotes on them as any new mother should. She watches as I do ENS on them, but never growls or fusses – just makes sure I put them back 🙂

Without further ado, I will introduce them to you. Since they were born on “National Beagle Day” it felt only fitting to name them after the most well known beagles.

*please note that none of these pups are available at this time*

Girl 1 – born at 10.62oz – now 1lb 1.1oz. Will now be named Miss P (because we joke that she should be called “Miss Piggy” as she put on 3oz in the first 36 hours)

Girl 3 – born at 10.82oz – now 15.9oz. Will now be called Bagel.

Boy 1-born at 12.35oz – now 1lb 2.4oz. Will now be called Snoopy

Boy 2-born at 11.82oz – now 1ob 1.5oz. Will now be called Gromit
