Caspian the beagle pup has his final week here in Seattle

I can’t quite believe this time has come but little Caspian – now Larry, has turned 8 weeks and will be heading off on his new adventure with his new family. I am so thrilled for them but sad for me. He has truly been such an easy beagle puppy to potty train and so responsive to training. He has been sleeping well overnight in his crate like a boss.

I know his new family will keep in touch but I will surely miss him.

The Friday the 13th beagle puppies are 6 weeks old

The boys are 6 weeks which means they get to go on the blue chair 🙂 Oh how I love these photos so much

These little guys are like Caspian – still little. I have to wonder if any will end up as 13 inch beagles or if they will be moderate sized 15s. It doesnt really matter but it’s fun to dream and think of how big they will be.

I have family visiting from NZ so they are having lots of socializing time with toddlers and exploring our property. I am amazed at how flexible and confident these little guys are. I think it helps that they have Caspian to help and guide them at every step of the way.

Daisy and Nick’s puppy Caspian turns 7 weeks old

Little Caspian is 7 weeks old and so it seemed fitting to do my traditional “blue chair” photos for him and he did not disappoint a bit.

What a sweet and handsome boy he is. A little independant, and very confident. He is still small and under 4lbs which isn’t typical for my puppies at this age, but he is eating and pooping and doing everything he needs to be healthy so I am not concerned about it.

Our Brinn and Louie beagle puppies turn 5 weeks old

Brinn and Louie’s beagle puppies are so sweet. Their little personalities are darling and they have started to find their voices. It’s so cute to hear their little howls and growls as they play.

I adore these little ones and watching them grow.

Wonderful Coos Bay Oregon

I had heard rumors that the show in Coos Bay Oregon was a fun one – a small show that finished early in the afternoon leaving plenty of time for socializing and enjoying life.

I travelled there with Malia and her dogs Savannah and Gracie. I took Basil, Nick, Aurora and Elphaba.

It was a fun couple of days – we didn’t think to take many photos as per usual. I didn’t take my trailer “Betty” but we took Malia’s pop up tent and roughed it 🙂 It was actually very fun.

Savannah won breed in 13s each day, and Nick won breed in 15s each day. Elphaba won “winners b*tch” for another 6 points towards her CH title.

Nick won an OH Hound Group 3 on Friday, and OH Group 1 / OH BIS on Saturday (no OH offered on Sunday). Thank you to the judges Mr Charles Olvis, Mrs Donelle Richards, Mr Del Richards, Ms Elizabeth Muthard for finding the Kazuri dogs this weekend.

Daisy and Nick’s beagle puppy Caspian turns 6 weeks

Little Caspian is doing well and just pottering along. He eats so well but is still pretty tiny. His half sister Brinn did the same thing and ended up as a 13 inch beagle – I have to wonder if he will stay little – time will tell.

He is a curious little man, and he was exploring the stairs, so I captured that today. He clearly wasn’t scared by the stair drop. Don’t worry, I didn’t leave him alone on there – safety first.

I love this sweet little man. <3

Brinn and Louie’s beagle puppies are 4 weeks old.

Brinn’s little beagle puppies are growing and eating 3 meals a day. Brinn only visits them at meal times – really she wants to steal their food and enjoy their left overs 🙂 haha. who can blame her? They are using the potty box a little bit – this is an area of opportunity for them – LOL.

The boys personalities are starting to emerge – Freddy is a little more confident at this stage, and Jason is a snuggler. Both are around the same size so I am keen to see where they end up size wise.

Enjoy their latest photos – that they were more interested in going off to play, than being part of the photo shoot – and who could blame them?

Brinn and Louie’s beagle puppies are 3 weeks old

Brinn’s little boys are growing up so fast and have tried their first bites of solid mushy food. They are not convinced that its really for consuming but each day they eat a little more.

We took them outside for their first experience outdoors since the weather has been so nice and we knew they wouldn’t get chilled. They had their nose to the ground – true beagle style.

Caspian the beagle puppy is 5 weeks old

Caspian continues to be a little delight – he isn’t very big but has a very outgoing and fun personality. Oh my gosh. What a delight.

We are loving watching this sweet and fun little guy grow up. He is holding his own with the puppies a month older than him.
