Kiss and Denny’s pups are 7 weeks today.

My sweet cavalier puppies are 7 weeks today. They are fun loving little explorers. On the sunny days we take them out into the garden to explore and play. The problem is, they don’t want to sit still anymore for close ups. So, you will just have to enjoy pictures of them enjoying the sun and exploring the garden with the big dogs and playing with mama Kiss (aka Paris).

Thank you for your interest in my puppies and breeding program. At this stage all of these puppies will be sold from my current wait list. I have just started assessing them to see who will stay in my breeding program. I thank you for your patience and understanding as I wait to make my final offers out to families. I do understand how hard it is to wait.

If you want to be considered for a future Kazuri puppy, please look on my “puppy page” for all the information you need about my breeding plans, FAQs, and a questionnaire to fill out. Thanks, Sarah

Emmy’s pups are 7 weeks

This is the first time attempting stacks with Emmy and Ben’s pups. Stacking is how we start to look their their structure – the angle of their shoulders, the length of their upper arm, the angle of their rear, their topline. The stack doesn’t tell us everything as some pups get nervous up here, but it’s a nice place to start.

I am SO pleased at how these pups have turned out. Using semen that was 22 years old was a gamble, and to get such beautiful pups to choose from, feels like a gift. <3

Thank you for your interest in my puppies and breeding program. At this stage I don’t know if any of these puppies will be available as I will start assessing them around week 7/8 to see who will stay in my breeding program, and I have a wait list already. I thank you for your patience and understanding. I do understand how hard it is to wait.

Kiss and Denny’s pups are 6 weeks today

The puppies are enjoying small times outside more and more. We don’t take them outside very much – not only because it’s still a bit cold, but also because it’s not super safe for them as we live on a lake with eagles – so we stand out there and supervise their playtime very closely.

Phoenix loves playtime with the babies so much – as you can see below, the feeling is mutual. She has just turned one, but she is very gentle with them. She has her mom Arrow’s beautiful temperament.

I did their individual pictures outdoors again this week. Enjoy <3

Kiss and Denny’s cavalier pups are 5 weeks old

Time is flying by so fast – I cant believe I am half way to some of these guys going home. Oh my gosh – I cant even think about it.

They are all super eaters now. When the bowls go down, they chow down. They were introduced to the big pack this week and Phoenix (my 1 year old ruby cavalier) was especially excited. If you want to see a video of her playing with one, i put it on Instagram @kazuri_beaglesandcavaliers She sits by their pen and tries t play through the bars and begs me to lets them out several times a day.

The pups are getting so good at walking around and playing that we decided to take them for their first outing outside into the yard. They were a little shy at first (as you will see in the pictures), but once they had figured out that they were safe, they started exploring a little and chewing on leaves and such. It is still a little cold out, and so we didn’t stay for long. We will take them out for small times again each day. 🙂

Here are the latest pictures of the babies – they are getting bigger. <3

I will be forever thankful to Heidi Mohn from Covington cavaliers for allowing me to use her beautiful boy Denny ( CKCSC-USA CH & AKC CH Covington Designed By Time) for this litter.

The cavalier pups are Enjoying food

After a couple of the babies had a slow start with food (ah hem – i literally had to spoon feed them in order for them to eat), now all the pups are eating with great vigor.

I also wanted to share this adorable photo of Miss Peggy who fits perfectly in my hands. For now anyway.

Keeping you safe in COVID-19

First of all, i wanted to say how sorry i am for all the families struggling right now – either because they are stuck at home with their kids full time and they have to work from home and that feels impossible, or struggling because their job hours have been cut due to their business struggling, or because they or someone they know or love is sick.

When it comes to visits (if you can do this), we will practice social distancing. We already have a “shoes off at the door” policy, but we will have everyone who comes wash their hands rather than use hand sanitizer. We will have wipes for the door handle. We wash the floor often, so that wont be anything new 🙂 Thankfully it doesn’t seem that dogs are affected by COVID-19 so that’s a good thing.

I want you to know I am aware of this and want to work with families when it comes time to pick up puppies. I know your city might be in “curfew” and you might not be able to travel, and things are kind of hard to move around right now anyway. So, I want you to know I am happy to work with you and figure things out.

I am so grateful for the families that love my Kazuri pups. They are some of the most pampered dogs in the country i think, and I am blessed by the families who love my dogs so well.

Thinking of you all through this tough time. We will get through it together. <3

No beagle pups in March

We are so sad to announce that Allie was pregnant, but yesterday we did an x-ray and found that she has lost the litter 🙁

To say that this is gut wrenching is an understatement. This is part of breeding for sure, but it doesn’t make it stink any less.

So, now we try and look to the future and what we will do next. Allie is fine. Going through the motions of a false pregnancy and was checked out thoroughly by out vet yesterday and was found to be healthy. So that is something to be grateful for.

Kiss’ cavalier puppies are 4 weeks old

According to my son (15), the puppies are now officially fun. They are now toddling around, exploring the puppy pen and starting to play with each other (and by play I mean in slow motion as they are still a little uncoordinated). They are enjoying several meals a day. All but Hamilton eat with great gusto – he gets a little distracted and would rather explore than sit and eat.

I am really loving raising these little ones – they are super fun and I am trying to enjoy every moment as it is already flying by way too fast.

Enjoy the latest photos. I hope whatever you are doing, in quarantine or not, you are staying safe and healthy. <3

Thank you so much for your interest in my puppies. At this stage I dont know which (if any) of these puppies will be available as I am waiting to assess them at 7-8 weeks. Thank you for being patient with me as I wait and make sure I make the right decision for my breeding program first, before making any offers out for pet families.

Emmy’s beagle pups play outdoors

Emmy’s pups are now 6 weeks old – I cant believe it. They are enjoying the outdoors more and more now. Karen sent me these pictures so I just had to share them <3

** Just a reminder that these puppies are being raised with my co-breeders Mike and Karen in Sacramento California, so you cant visit them in Seattle unfortunately. I will be bringing them up at some point in April.

Kiss’s Cavalier Puppies are 3 weeks old

The puppies are 3 weeks old and starting to toddle around. Their eyes are all completely open and little growls and puuurrrs are being heard all the time. We fed them their first meal and 3/5 loved it – the other two were a little meh. We will keep trying as growing up is just part of life right 🙂 LOL

I took their pictures just after they had a nursing session so I couldn’t wake a couple of them to show you their beautiful eyes – dont mind the pinky color on their faces and legs – that was from their food – yes – it did go everywhere 🙂 . Here are my beautiful babies. <3
