We are thrilled that we got Nick’s OFA hip results today and they are EXCELLENT – I couldn’t be happier at this result.
He is a beautiful and sound beagle.

Pud and Spencer’s beagle pups turned 5 weeks today. They are getting much more confident on their feet and have conquered the slide and play daily “king of the castle” up there.
We are definitely seeing them enjoying exploring their world – they love to climb on top of blankets if we leave them out, or scramble over toys and obstacles that have been left (aka little boxes or teeter totters and such). We love to snuggle them. They are at that sweet age where they play for a short time and then crash and nothing can wake them.
We are letting them have small visits in the garden – they are gaining confidence out there too – its a big world out there with so many new smells and sensations. They really weren’t interested in stopping to take pictures. Oh well. 🙂
I am loving raising this litter – I only wish Chels lived closer so she could join me in all the snuggles too. Videos only show so much.
Enjoy the latest pictures of our precious babies.

I am so so pleased to announce that Sir “Kazuri’s To Sir With Love” is our latest champion. He makes Kazuri’s 6th beagle champion for 2021. <3
On Saturday, at the Sammamish Kennel club being held in Enumclaw WA, under judge Mrs. Kathleen J Brock, Sir went WD, BOW for a 3point major.
Then again today, under Mrs. Marianne C. Klinkoswki, he did it again going WD and BOW for another 3 point major to finish.
Sir finished his CH undefeated in the classes in only 4 weekends of showing (one of which was a single specialty day). He is now going to finish his health testing and enjoy the good life at home for a while. I am very proud.

Pud’s pups are growing beautifully. They are still on the smaller side but they amaze me with how active they are, so that might account with some of the lack of chub – they play with each other and the toys around their playpen. Their eyes are completely open and they wake up and toddle over to the side of the pen when they hear my voice. Yes, it’s a little ego boost 🙂 HAHA. Really, it’s just because I bottle fed them and they see me as a quick way to get their belly full 🙂
We are enjoying them so very much. I can’t wait till their little personalities start to emerge a little more.
This week we started solids a little earlier than I normally do – with Pudding’s milk supply not as high as needed, I thought we could support with some baby mush. They love love love their food 🙂 They are not super skilled at eating it, often trying to “nurse” it out of the bowl, but I know that those skills will come with time. But, I am glad they are getting some extra calories.
Their photos tonight were a little rushed – it was dinnertime and they were starving – so not my best work – but enjoy anyway. 🙂

Nick is truly a dog we are so proud of and we can’t wait to see what the 2nd half of this year brings for him.

After a few days of taking it easy, our special boy Nick came back into the ring with great flair starting the Houston World Series of Dog Shows with a bang.
Today at the San Jacinto Beagle Club, Nick (MBIS MBISS GCHS Kazuri’s All I Want For Christmas) went Best Of Variety in the 15 inch beagles in a lovely lineup of beagles, and then went on to win Best in Specialty by beating the 13 inch Variety winner.
We are very thankful to judge Mrs Molly Martin for this great honor and for finding our happy little hound in the beautiful lineup today.
Congratulations to David and Ann Wolf on Ivy’s 13 inch BOV win today from the Veteran class and to all the other winners today.
I am proud as punch as a breeder today!!

The puppies are all so wiggly now, it’s hard to get individual photos of them. 🙂 I might try again in my studio again next week. But, they get out in the garden daily for playtime in the garden so I love to document their play sessions. They have so much fun together.
Enjoy these photos of both litters plus our adults. They all get along so well.
*please note that none of the puppies are available at this time*

With the cavalier puppies getting bigger, they get more and more time outside playing with the pack. The beagles are so gentle with them – I have an un-neutered male who is super gentle with them which makes me so proud of the temperaments of the dogs I produce.
Enjoy these photos of the babies at play in the garden with the big dogs. 🙂 *just a reminder that these puppies are not available at this time*

Beau was my pick boy from my Madison x Buddy litter. I tried hard not to fall in love with him but I couldnt help myself.
We were doing a major home re-model and had to move out and so Mike and Karen said that many of our pack members could live with them for a few months. As soon as it was done, I drove down to California to pick them all up.
Beau is as sweet at 11 months as he was at 12 weeks when I dropped him off. I am excited to have some shows open up in WA so I can show him.
Introducing Beau – Kazuri’s All I Need Is Love and Cake.
