Charlotte has her CKCS puppies

Miss Charlotte was overdue and no signs of labor, so I am so thankful to the team at Klahaya Animal Hospital led by amazing vet Dr Anders Thoreson for doing a c-section. 3 bonnie boys arrived safe and sound.

Boy 1 (tri) – 9.0oz

Boy 2 – (light blen) – 7..7oz

Boy 3 – (dark blen) 7.9oz

Mama went straight to nursing and the boys were so happy.

Nellie’s CKCS cavalier puppies are 7 weeks old

I love this age so much – they are now following us when we call and they are playing and exploring. They are just so so adorable and I adore my snuggles with them.

Phoenix’s CKCS pups play in the fall leaves

The beautiful thing about fall and ruby cavalier king charles pups is that they look so gorgeous together. The PNW has taken a cold and wet turn and so time outside has been limited for the cavalier pups.

However, we had an afternoon of a break and I took the cavalier babies outside for a little play in the leaves. We didn’t stay out there long as I didn’t want them to get chilled, but I took some cute pictures while we were there.

Enjoy – the cavalier puppies at 6.5 weeks.

Phoenix’s CKCS pups turn 6 weeks

This was a big week for our little cavalier pups. With the boys back to full health, they were able to move into the dog room – they are enjoying all the new toys, the mini stairs and they have loved meeting the bigger dogs.

We have had a cold and wet spell here in the PNW, and so they haven’t had any outside time yet – I hope this week we might get a few warmer afternoons so they can go outside for a bit.

So – for now, enjoy the pictures of them from today – 6 weeks old.

Girl 1 – Puff

Girl 2 – Raven

Echo and Dutch’s pups are 7 weeks

How have we reached 7 weeks already? Time is zoomin by and I guess I need to really start making some decisions.

I took photos of the pups on the blue chair and I love how they turned out. I also took some stacked photos of them – hope you like them.

Puds beagle pups turn 5 weeks

Pud and Spencer’s beagle pups turned 5 weeks today. They are getting much more confident on their feet and have conquered the slide and play daily “king of the castle” up there.

We are definitely seeing them enjoying exploring their world – they love to climb on top of blankets if we leave them out, or scramble over toys and obstacles that have been left (aka little boxes or teeter totters and such). We love to snuggle them. They are at that sweet age where they play for a short time and then crash and nothing can wake them.

We are letting them have small visits in the garden – they are gaining confidence out there too – its a big world out there with so many new smells and sensations. They really weren’t interested in stopping to take pictures. Oh well. 🙂

I am loving raising this litter – I only wish Chels lived closer so she could join me in all the snuggles too. Videos only show so much.

Enjoy the latest pictures of our precious babies.

Puppy playtime in the yard

It was a lovely afternoon so I decided to let the beagle puppies play in the backyard with the big dogs. They confidently ran around smelling all the new smells and exploring the new spots in the yard. We have almost an acre so it could be intimidating for tiny pups, but I was so happy to see that they happy out there. It probably helped that their mommies were out there too.

These are the colors of collars they have on, so in the photos you know who is who: (Maddy x Buddy) – Gordon – Yellow, Ming – Silver, Bobby – Black, Mario – Cream, Carla – Purple, Julia – Pink. (Vixen x BJ) Elon – Light Blue, Doug – Navy Blue, Bob – Green, Katherine – Red, Dorothy – Orange.

Thank you for your interest in my breeding program. I wont be making offers to any families till closer to 6-7 weeks when I can assess their structure and temperament, and decide which will be staying in my breeding program.

Please note for any new enquiries, that I have approximately a 12-18 month + wait time for puppies at this time.

Madison’s puppies are 5 weeks

Madison’s puppies are really starting to look and act like real puppies. They are playing with Vixen’s puppies – they of course get beaten up, but it’s making them tough too 🙂 LOL. They are almost weaned – not because they want to be – ha!

They are sweet and confident – they are getting good at going up 2 – 3 stairs at a time thanks to the little ladder and slide they play on and love playing in the garden. I love snuggling them so much.

Enjoy the photos of them from this week <3

Vixen’s puppies are 8 weeks old

It’s hard to believe that Vixen’s puppies are old enough to fly the coup. Oh my gosh. I am just so glad that a couple of them are spending a couple of extra weeks here as their families cant pick them up yet, and so I get a few more weeks of snuggles – WHEW!

Eve’s new name is Echo (purple collar) – she is bold and bright and full of energy. But she also wants to be with people and is super friendly. She is going to live with the Sheppard family and will be shown in conformation and 4H. Noelle (yellow collar) is laid back and quiet, although definitely not a push over – she loves to be snuggled and nestles into your neck. She is going to live as a pet with the Banks family. Kris (black collar) is outgoing and friendly – he is my daughter’s favorite puppy and she will be sad to see him go. He has found the perfect home with L Blank and her boyfriend and he has already settled in perfectly. Nick (blue collar) may be a 13 inch and is my little shadow – he watches me intently and I think he is super smart. I am hoping we will show him and he will be part of our breeding program if he continues to grow in the way he is right now. Holly (pink collar) is super sweet, and has enough spice to be fun and playful but melts into your arms when you pick her up. She has gone to the loving home with the Langan’s and I am pleased to know we will see her in the show ring next Summer.

Enjoy the latest pictures of them playing around our yard. <3
